ये तो हम सभी जानते हैं की पुराने समय में अंधविश्वास बहुत फैला था, पहले के जमाने में देवी या अन्य भगवान को प्रसन्न करने के लिए बलि प्रथा का चलन था। लेकिन अब इस प्रथा को समाप्त कर दिया गया हैं, ये अब कानूनी अपराध माना जाता हैं। लेकिन आपको बता दें की आज भी कई मंदिरों में इंसानी खून का भोग लगाया जाता हैं।

आज आपको एक ऐसे ही मंदिर के बारें में बताने जा रहें हैं जहां आज भी इंसानी खून का प्रसाद चढ़ाया जाता हैं। से स्थान हैं बोरोदेवी मंदिर, यह मंदिर पश्चिम बंगाल में स्थित हैं। आप जानकर हैरान हो जायेंगे कि इस मंदिर में 500 वर्षों से इंसानी खून का भोग लगता आ रहा हैं। मान्यता हैं की इस मंदिर में बिना इंसानी खून का भोग लगाए आने वाले भक्त की पूजा सफल नहीं होती हैं। इस स्थान पर आज भी अष्टमी की रात्रि देवी काली की उपासना के दौरान इंसानी खून का भोग लगाया जाता हैं।

1831 में महाराजा हरेंद्र नारायण ने इस मंदिर का निर्माण करवाया था और इसमें देवी काली की प्रतिमा की स्थापना कराई थी। इस मंदिर की वर्तमान प्रतिमा चावल से बनी हैं। माना जाता हैं कि इस प्राचीन प्रतिमा को इस मंदिर से हटा कर असम के मदन मोहन मंदिर में स्थापित कर दिया गया था।

Today we are going to tell you about one such temple where even today human blood offerings are made. Borodevi Temple is located in West Bengal. You will be surprised to know that this temple has been consumed by human blood for 500 years. It is believed that the worship of the devotee without offering human blood in this temple is not successful. Even today, during the worship of Goddess Kali, the night of Ashtami, human blood is offered.

This temple was built by Maharaja Harendra Narayan in 1831 and the statue of Goddess Kali was installed in it. The current statue of this temple is made of rice. It is believed that this ancient statue was removed from this temple and installed in the Madan Mohan Temple in Assam.
