Important information related to Pooja -पूजा से संबंधित महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी

★ एक हाथ से प्रणाम नही करना चाहिए।

★ सोए हुए व्यक्ति का चरण स्पर्श नहीं करना चाहिए।

★ बड़ों को प्रणाम करते समय उनके दाहिने पैर पर दाहिने हाथ से और उनके बांये पैर को बांये हाथ से छूकर प्रणाम करें।

★ मन्दिर में किसी व्यक्ति के चरण नहीं छूने (गुरु को छोड़कर ) चाहिए।

★ जप करते समय जीभ या होंठ को नहीं हिलाना चाहिए। इसे मानसिक जप कहते हैं। इसका फल सौगुणा फलदायक होता हैं।

★ जप करते समय माला को कपड़े या गौमुखी से ढककर रखना चाहिए।

★ जप के बाद आसन के नीचे की भूमि को स्पर्श कर नेत्रों से लगाना चाहिए।

★ संक्रान्ति, द्वादशी, अमावस्या, पूर्णिमा, रविवार और सन्ध्या के समय तुलसी तोड़ना निषिद्ध हैं।

★ दीपक से दीपक को नही जलाना चाहिए।

★ यज्ञ, श्राद्ध आदि में काले तिल का प्रयोग करना चाहिए, सफेद तिल का नहीं।

★ शनिवार को पीपल पर जल चढ़ाना चाहिए। पीपल की सात परिक्रमा करनी चाहिए। परिक्रमा करना श्रेष्ठ है,

★ कूमड़ा-मतीरा-नारियल आदि को स्त्रियां नहीं तोड़े या चाकू आदि से नहीं काटें। यह उत्तम नही माना गया हैं।

★ भोजन प्रसाद को लाघंना नहीं चाहिए।

★ देव प्रतिमा देखकर अवश्य प्रणाम करें।

★ किसी को भी कोई वस्तु या दान-दक्षिणा दाहिने हाथ से देना चाहिए।

★ एकादशी, अमावस्या, कृृष्ण चतुर्दशी, पूर्णिमा व्रत तथा श्राद्ध के दिन क्षौर-कर्म (दाढ़ी) नहीं बनाना चाहिए ।

★ बिना यज्ञोपवित या शिखा बंधन के जो भी कार्य, कर्म किया जाता है, वह निष्फल हो जाता हैं।

★ शंकर जी को बिल्वपत्र, विष्णु जी को तुलसी, गणेश जी को दूर्वा, लक्ष्मी जी को कमल प्रिय हैं।

★ शंकर जी को शिवरात्रि के सिवाय कुंकुम नहीं चढ़ती।

★ शिवलिंग पर हल्दी नही चढ़ावे।

★ शिवजी को कुंद, विष्णु जी को धतूरा, देवी जी को आक तथा मदार और सूर्य भगवानको तगर के फूल नहीं चढ़ावे।

★ अक्षत देवताओं को तीन बार तथा पितरों को एक बार धोकर चढ़ावे।

★ नये बिल्व पत्र नहीं मिले तो चढ़ाये हुए बिल्व पत्र धोकर फिर चढ़ाए जा सकते हैं।

★ विष्णु भगवान को चावल गणेश जी को तुलसी, दुर्गा जी और सूर्य नारायण को बिल्व पत्र नहीं चढ़ावें।

★ पत्र-पुष्प-फल का मुख नीचे करके नहीं चढ़ावें, जैसे उत्पन्न होते हों वैसे ही चढ़ावें।

★ किंतु बिल्वपत्र उलटा करके डंडी तोड़कर शंकर पर चढ़ावें।

★पान की डंडी का अग्रभाग तोड़कर चढ़ावें।

★ सड़ा हुआ पान या पुष्प नहीं चढ़ावे।

★ गणेश को तुलसी भाद्र शुक्ल चतुर्थी को ही चढ़ती हैं।

★ पांच रात्रि तक कमल का फूल बासी नहीं होता है।

★ दस रात्रि तक तुलसी पत्र बासी नहीं होते हैं।

★ सभी धार्मिक कार्यो में पत्नी को दाहिने भाग में बिठाकर धार्मिक क्रियाएं सम्पन्न करनी चाहिए।

★ पूजन करनेवाला ललाट पर तिलक लगाकर ही पूजा करें।

★ पूर्वाभिमुख बैठकर अपने बांयी ओर घंटा, धूप तथा दाहिनी ओर शंख, जलपात्र एवं पूजन सामग्री रखें।

★ घी का दीपक अपने बांयी ओर तथा देवता को दाहिने ओर रखें एवं चांवल पर दीपक रखकर प्रज्वलित करें।




★ Do not bow with one hand.

★ Do not touch the sleeping person's feet.

★ While bowing to elders, bow with their right hand on their right foot and touching their left foot with their left hand.

★ Do not touch the feet of any person in the temple (except Guru).

★ The tongue or lips should not be moved while chanting. This is called mental chanting. Its fruit is beneficial.

★ During the chanting, the garland should be covered with cloth or cow milk.

★ After chanting, touch the ground under the pedestal and apply it with the eyes.

★ It is prohibited to break Tulsi during Sankranti, Dwadashi, Amavasya, full moon, Sunday and evening.

★ Do not light a lamp with a lamp.

★ Black sesame should be used in Yajna, Shradh etc. and not white sesame seeds.

★ Water should be offered on Peepal on Saturday. People should do seven rounds. Circumambulation is best,

★ Do not break kumda-matira-coconut etc. with women or cut them with a knife etc. It is not considered good.

★ Food offerings should not be omitted.

★ Greetings after seeing the idol.

★ Anyone should give any item or donation with Dakshina.

★ On the day of Ekadashi, Amavasya, Krishna Chaturdashi, Purnima fast and Shraddha, do not make Kshaur-Karma (beard).

★ Whatever work, karma is done without sacrificing yajnopavit or shikha bond, it becomes fruitless.

★ Shankar ji loves bilvapatra, Vishnu ji as Tulsi, Ganesh ji as Durva, Lakshmi ji loves lotus.

★ Kankum does not climb except Shivaratri to Shankar.

★ Do not offer turmeric on Shivling.

★ Shiva's blunt, Vishnu ji's datura, Devi ji's Aak and Madar and Sun God did not offer flowers.

★ Offer the Akshata to the Gods three times and the ancestors by washing them once.

★ If new bill letters are not received, the rolled paper can be washed and offered again.

★ Lord Vishnu should not offer rice to Ganesh ji, Basil, Durga ji and Surya Narayana to Bilva Patra.

★ Do not climb the face of the letter-flower-fruit down, rise as it arises.

★ But invert the billet and break the stalk and climb on Shankar.

★ Break down the tip of the betel leaf.

★ Do not offer rotten betel leaves or flowers.

★ Tulsi is offered to Ganesh on Bhadra Shukla Chaturthi.

★ Lotus flower is not rancid till five nights.

★ Tulsi letters are not rancid till ten nights.

★ In all religious works, the wife should perform religious activities by putting her in the right part.

★ Worship only by applying tilak on the forehead.

★ Sit facing east, keep hour, sunshine on your left and conch, water vessel and worship material on your right.

★ Keep the lamp of ghee on your left and the deity on the right and light the lamp by placing the lamp on the moon.
